So I have an Akrapovic Slip on pipe on my 2014 VFR800FD. in the lower gears, when I get off the throttle, there is some popping and crackling. When I installed the pipe, I was told the stock ECU would automatically adjust and give me the right map. I can't really feel any difference, thought the bike sounds much better. I'm considering contacting FuelMotoUSA.com to get a full plug and play kit. I had one from them for my RC51 and it was massive difference on that bike. It ran smoother, was easier to use and made just over 8% more power most places in the curve, for both horsepower and torque. I would be ecstatic for similar results for my current VFR.

Does anybody have any experience in ECU tuning the 8th Gen bikes?
