How many miles on your 91? Just axing because my 91 had 70,000 miles or so and still had more left in it when I changed the entire pack, springs included. I believe in OEM clutches thats just me though. I think Honda cheaped out on their new metal plates as they dont have those stipple marks on them, this may help cold neutral to first engagements (quieter.) I did it just as preventitive maintenance. My old metal plates looked perfect with no blueing or any shit, but I still swapped them out.

No regrets changing it out though, bike rides better over 120 mph, springs were immediatley noticeable though as the clutch lever pull felt a little more authoritative. Hope this helps.
