Just put a new tire on the rear. What a world of difference that makes the old was might as well have been a square block as far as leaning into a turn was concerned.
So while I had the tire off the rim I decided I would strip the paint as it was nicked up anyway.
All you need is some Aircraft paint remover (10 bucks) and nylon scrub brush (1 buck). Just scrub on the remover and scrub off the paint with the same brush. It makes a mess so then wash it in the sink or outside if nice weather so you can see what you missed. I just had to repeat this 3 times until all the paint was off. And then a little metal polish.
I may do the front when I do a new tire on it. or keep just the back polished to be different.

    Cool

It looks good and I am going to have a crack at it.

Has anyone ever polished an 8 spoke vfr750 wheel?
