I'm a new rider and I live in the foot hills of the Blue Ridge mountains in NC. There are many great places to ride. My current challenge however is that I have no place close by to practice. My home is in the hills. My drive way and immediate roads consist of hills and sharp turns. Not an ideal place to get acquainted with a VFR as my first bike. All flat empty school parking lots etc. need to be driven to first!

I want to find a small trailer that will provide easy on / easy off ( by myself ) loading of my bike so I can take it to a safer place to practice with the clutch, throttle and turns.

    Any suggestions would be wonderful.

    Thanks,

    Gunzer

It's easy. Go to any Home Depot or Lowes or Tractor Supply & get a simple 4' X 8' open trailer with a ramp.

Then mount one of these on it.

That way, you will have a trailer you can use for other things as well as a chock that can be used in any other trailer or a truck bed. If you get both brand new, you're out $750 + tax.

I personally use a 6' X 6' X 12' enclosed trailer since I trailer down from NJ to Cherokee, NC. I need the extra security an enclosed trailer offers.

    KC-10 FE out...
