    Hey gang,
I have been using a downloaded map for my PCII with the serial cable. Its been ok but I decided to take the plunge and go the custom map route on the dyno. The dyno guy is saying he cant work with that unit. Now when it comes to software, electronics and computers, I'm dense. What have you guys done as a "work around"?

    Thanks,
    MD

All you should need ia a serial port to usb adapter cable - like this one - http://www.usbgear.com/usa/item_288.html and he should be able to program your pc2. Most newer computers don't have serial ports anymore (like the port on your pc2), so maybe that is his problem. Either that, or maybe you need to find another tuner.......call Jon or Micah here: http://www.af1racing.com/fuel_injection_services.htm and get the lowdown. http://www.af1racing.com/dyno_tuning.htm. You can also pm them at Aprilia Forum.
