Ducati wheels on VFR800's

    Happened to go by the machine shop that did the single-nut conversion for me.

    As I may or may not have mentioned in other posts, the problem with the 800 is the size of the three-piston linked rear caliper.

    Tony says he's not too busy these days, so I started looking over my spare VFR800 swingarm and Brembo caliper at home. Looks like it may be possible to make an adapter bracket for the Duc's Brembo caliper that will let you retain the VFR's rear rotor and other parts. Tony's shop can machine and press-fit the axle and drill out the spindle for the new drive pins. Then all you need is a set of RC45 drive pins, a Ducati wheel and wheelnut/circlip. Just bolt 'er up and go.
