I am looking for more wind protection. It seems most go with Zero Gravity. Will the Zero Gravity give me more protection and is the double bubble the better choice?

It's not so much that the DB has better wind protection, it channels the air & makes it more manageable. I've had 3 windscreens on my bike & the ZG DB wins hands down.

    KC-10 FE out...

I just intalled one on my 6th gen earlier this summer. It was a major improvement over the stock wind screen. A lot less wind noise in my helmet. The only thing I'm not crazy about is the thickness of the screen. It's considerably thinner than the stock, but It hasn't been a problem yet, and I haven't read anyone else here having a problem either. I just worry I'm going to break it. :)

I have decided to go with ZG. I am uncertain if I should go with the ST shield or the Double Bubble. I am going to install Heli Bars as well so looking to deflect the wind over and around my helmet.

I'm 6'1 and I have custom bars similar to helis, up and back 1.5". I tried the ZG DB and didn't notice any decrease in wind noise or turbulence over the stock screen. In fact it seemed make my head bobble even more. I switched back to a stock screen (ZG SR) and it works well for me. I think the best thing for taller riders is to use a low screen and let the aerodynamics of the helmet do it's job. I also have a ZG ST but I've never used it.
The best thing I did is start wearing earplugs, it really cuts down on fatigue and it actually lets me connect with the bike more, if that makes any sense.

I have helibars, and I also switched back to the OEM wind screen and find it much better for me, even at very high speeds (I'm 6' 1"). As for the ear plugs, I would not ride without them. I can hear what I need to hear (engine RPM, car horns, my Scala Rider speakers - radio, intercom, GPS, etc.), but there is virtually no wind sound (very faint at most). Of course, I think the concerts I attended in my earlier years pretty much damaged my hearing anyway, so it might be a different experience for those with virgin eardrums (if there is such a person).

I have ZG dbl bbl with the heli bars.
It seems a little bit better on my neck w/ helmet on ( car accident last year ) the stock would buffer my head around kinda bad w/ stock screen and ZG compaired to stock is I would say 60% better but a little more wind noise.

I think I will roll the dice and go with the Zero Gravity ST, looks is not an issue.

Yes you are correct! It is considerably thinner, and it flexes a bunch more then stock too, so much that under hard acceleration the thing vibrates and shakes like a chihuahua on a cold night. I also didn't like its shitty fitment over stock. Ill take some pics when i get home on what im talking about on shitty fitment. Im thinking of swapping it out for like a Puig or something that fits better and thicker material, i was disappointed when i got this windscreen i was hoping for better.

I think that buffering has something to do with helmet design too, i get little to no buffeting when i had the stock screen with my Shark RSR2 and RSX helmets. I got a little with my Shoei-RF1000, and alot with the Scorpion EX400 and my HJC AC12 though.

I have my ST for sale on Ebay now if you're looking to save some money. I sold the DB last week.

I have the ZG DB. It is thinner. I am only 5'8" so it seems to be better for me except for the extra wind noise. I wish Memphis Shades would come out with a shield for the VFR. I had one on my Harley and it was way better than the Harley shield.

I am running the ZG on '07 RWB. I do like it in cooler weather, however for me at 5'9" the combination with exo1000 helmet causes some really odd turbulence right at the helmet level and makes it do strange noises sometimes. Sometimes I can correct this by playing with the vents. I think for normal warm weather riding I may switch back to stock.

I'm happy to read good feedback about the ZG DB windscreen. I recently bought one and I'll be installing it tomorrow, but sorry to say that it won't be tested until spring time.

This is kinda funny to me. I have only had my VFR for about a month and due to weather, only put about 600 miles on it.

I have been riding HD bikes for many years and I am not use to a windshield at all!!!! The VFR in stock form does a great job with winds on the highway!

Just ordered one. Put it on over the winter as well. Had one on my 900RR; worked great.

I have used Honda's High Rise screen. You can get them from David Silver Spares and found it worked really well compared to the stock screen. I am 6'3. Wind noise depends on what helmet I am wearing.
