Whats your thoughts on double bubble screens , good or crap ?
My vfr 800 fi came with a bubble screen but i think its causing my noise problems. I always wear earplugs but over 50 the noise is so loud its driving me mad. I think the screen is pushing the wind up and right into my face but having never ridden with a standard screen i dont know if thats just the bikes design. When i crouch behind the screen at speed its lovely and quiet and when i stand up on the pegs out of the turbulence its also quieter , so is my screen making my ride noisy ?
Would love your thoughts especially if youve got experiance of both screens.

Also depends on the bike. Had a dB my Cbr and it was bliss. Yet have tried several different types on an 8th gen and still no success. Blooming frustrating.

I've got one. Was a Zero Gravity, which was nice, but the holes didn't 100% line up, and there were two screw holes where there should have been 4. After that broke, ordered a $20 off Amazon, and it is darker, fits correctly with the correct amount of holes, and seems to be thicker plastic. I don't get as much buffeting because it seems to have a steeper center section.

I've got a cheapo one coming from Ebay that I plan to cut to size so I can make it shorter than
    stock.

From just a look, it seems like the OEM screen would put the wind down a lot lower, rather than
right at your face shield. How tall are you? I'm 5'8" and the OEM screen puts the wind right into
    my face shield.

Very happy with a Zero Gravity DB on my VFR. Certainly no noisier than stock, and has added 20 km/hr to my comfortable cruising speed.

I just ordered MRA touring vario with adjustable screen for my 6th gen. I don't mind the stock one, just when i'm on a two lane hwy the semi's kinda blow you around when they pass in opposite direction so I tuck down (and avoid the debri blowing in). The reviews on here were really good and its adjustable!

That's a very short screen, I've used Pyramid plastics on my CBR600 and have a Puig on my VFR

I have a Chinese $27 windscreen on my 99 and it's very thick. Fits fine, except no hooks to go in the fairing on the bottom front. Still fits. Holes line up and it's QUIET. Rode without earbuds to try it out and even my noisey helmet was tolerable. No buffeting at all.

I also bought one of the $27 screens from China, and it is pretty darned good quality. My hooks do fit into the
fairing, at least on one side, the other side fits, but not as well. I'm in the process of trimming it down to get the
wind below my helmet. I've got it pretty low, but still a bit noisy, so time to trim a bit more.

And I did have to do some filing and a little grinding to get it to fit well into the fairing, but not too much.

Since I have Chinese fairings on my bike, I did have to make the two holes more oblong to fit this part of the fairing. No big deal. Took all of about 2 minutes.

I have the zero gravity db on my 6th gen and I would like a better wind flow. Never had the stock screen on to compare it to. I'm 6 ft and seem to get quite a bit of wind noise. One thing that made a big difference was getting a new helmet that actually fits properly, got rid of most of the buffeting that way. Previously I was always behind a big windshield and never had an issue so I never suspected my helmet was a major part of the problem.I would like to try the MRA touring screen clip on to see if that makes a difference before I buy one. Just have to find someone local that has one to try it out on first.
