I have bought a wiring loom from a 98 VFR800 and am hoping it will fit on a 2003 VFR800 but then I remembered the later model has VTEC. I dont suppose the earlier models had VTEC? I know the loom is from a anniversary model. Is there any way of using the loom and running in seperate wires for VTEC?

Also does anyone know if the ECM connector is different on the different year bikes?

    Thanks

Heck no dude - The 98 - 01 VFR is the 5th generation and not VTEC thank god. I love all VFRs, but the 5th gen is my favorite. VTEC is not for me , but it is good technology just not my perference.

Come on dude, he's not asking for the same old "5th gen owner talks VTEC" opinions, "THANK GOD!" He's asking about the harness.
