Just wanted to find out if anyone who has fitted their rectifier with a CPU Fan drilled vents in the side fairing to allow air to be pulled in by the fan to the rectifier? When I installed the fairing its pressed against the fan awfully tight. Even though it has vents at bottom of fairing to allow air in I wonder if it will burn the fan out with no space between fan and the fairing? Any personal experience would be appreciated. Thanks!

mine has worked fine with no vents, although I did remove some of the black plastic from the undertail just under the frame rail, below the RR and back a bit to allow more airflow thru the area. didnt seem to have any way out...seems happy!
