On the 02+ VFR800 the left fork tube has a bushing in one of the holes that connect to the disc brake mechanism. Its a very flimsy think bushing with an outer flange. Here it is in a picture: https://www.evernote.com/shard/s109/sh/eecd34f1-5b2a-4f3e-9087-deb734b25c5c/dafee106970691c4f7219bb3b51fbafe/deep/0/$T2eC16F,!)UE9s3wBnF5BR)MypvsKQ--60_57-and-Sent-(8470-messages,-25-unread)-and-untitled-text.png I can't seem to find this on a picture in the parts breakdown, I wonder if it comes in a kit, perhaps something like 45630-MBG-016 (JOINT SET, BRAKE ROD) Brian
Thinking maybe #1,#2, or #27. All three are aboot $27 to find oot. http://www.bikebandit.com/houseofmotorcycles/2003-honda-interceptor-800-vfr800/o/m151247#sch310961
2 is the collar pivot and that part goes inside that hole. But also inside that hole is a thin flange thing, thats the part I am needing. I am not sure if when you order the collar pivot #2 if it comes with the flange, the diagram would lead me to say no. I wish I knew the generic term for this flange part as its possible I could just find one somewhere. Its almost shaped like a car rim. its like two washers joined in the middle by a axel. Its very thin, and its all one piece, so you would have to literally slide it in and fold it, seems like a mess. I had my fork tubes powered and the part never came back with them, as they remove all that stuff and this was a very subtle part.
