Bike - 6th gen., '07. I recently removed my front turn signal modules & replaced with amber LED strips, 2 per side, 1 vert. & 1 horiz. Why? To find out if what appear to be good channels for cooling air to the sides of the radiators, at speed, (only fans help at low speed near as I can tell) are actually such. Added the load resistors to keep the flash rate normal. Played around with diodes to try to keep the 'feedback' loop from slightly flashing the opposite inactive turn signal when the other is active, but got no where with this. Finally observed the stock signals closely, and realized that there is feedback with the stock bulbs, just not so noticeable. But it's there & this seems to indicate that I won't be able to get rid of this feedback in the circuitry as it is presently wired? I found 'coderighter's' project on the 'other' forum, but I'd rather not go to the extent of re-designing the present circuit, if possible. Hoping someone else may have an idea? TIA, ACE
Thx for the response, I realize the subject of LED signals has been beat to death . She has 2 indicators in the dash. There are also 2 diode units for the flashers in the wiring diagram. If I actually experience greater cooling while moving with this mod, I may make a 'project' out of this ... the LED strips I chose need a greater viewing angle anyway, to be closer to acceptable for possible legal use  ...
