I would ride that thing down ski hills at absolutely stupid speeds. God I hope those brakes are strong. I think it would just be an issue of getting the hills to let you on with a motor. hmmm.

Sounds like in order of laziness you have (least to most):
    XC racers - XC riders - XC/Freeriders - Freeriders - Freeride/DH guys - DH guys - Motorized DH Riders

Then again, that does look a ton of fun...

I'm more impressed with some developments I'm hearing to have an electric powered motorcycle where each wheel has power.

The great advantage of electric motors is that you have torque no matter what RPM whether it's 1 RPM or 10K RPM. Only thing holding back electric motorcycles is the battery. If they could make a battery small and lightweight and can last a week between charges I'd buy one.

There's an electric drag motorcycle and nothing can touch it. It goes 0-60 in 1 second!!!!

so I'm thinking it would be fun to play with if it said Honda on the side and was reliable. The electric would be cool too, but I don't see lightweight superpowerful batteries being in stuff like this while I'm still interested in the paying the recovery time for bombing downhill on something like this.

Neat idea, but more likely something to play with on vacation than park in my garage.

If Honda made both, I'd rather have this than the huge scooter-esqe bike that looks like PC800 #2
