Death of a Tire

    Had a tire that i had to put 2 plugs in to get home,turned out to be one of my favorite pics on the VFR so far so after loading some in the gallery,here it is.Anyone else have some?

    I've been doing the same thing on my Rear tire, can't wait to get those rock hard Dunlops off my VFR, I'll post pics in the next couple of weeks...

    I think maybe jethro? has some like that also. I remember them being posted about 9 months ago give or take... it pops up every once in a while on the home page.

    Thats why you don't let your Wife video it,"i told you it was a bad idea" for the rest of your marrige.Burnouts are easy to do,you just cann't hesitate,if you do it will pust the tire like in that video.Get it spinning and back off the throttle,no need to be on the limiter.I usually do it when i'm changing a tire,i've poped a few before and ite messy,good photo opp and what else can you use a worn out tire for,i actually turned the bike it that first picture so the smoke would blow over me.:smile:

    That statement surprises me Reg, I though it was kind of an unwritten rule when a rear tire is on it's last legs you light it up just to say goodbye...

    I guess another thing that worried me was the fact that we have linked brakes. It's funny, I haven't done a burnout but I have done a donut on the VFR. :)
