    I just saw this on ebay (at the top of the home page) and it made me think of when I test rode a brand new FZ1 and how slick the new tires were. I'm just glad I didn't dump it and end up buying a brand new totalled bike. Especially one as overpriced as the VFR1200.

    Impressive! How did he manage that ? It looks like he didn't miss a single corner or surface.

    Did he punch a hole in the steering stem? How the heck did he do that?!?

    At least it's reasonably priced now... :rolleyes:

    Holy hell. It looks like it fell out of an ugly tree and hit every branch on the way down.

    Then someone test rode it and fucked it up.

    <ducks>

    I saw that the other day too. Only 200 miles and it's trash. Is there really anything on that bike that could be salvaged? How on earth do you total a new bike on a test ride? It looks like it was hit by a truck.

    Yeah, I saw that one too, I was rather impressed at the level of damage done as well. I suppose you could salvage the powertrain. Possibly the frame depending on how tweaked it is and if the steering stem is salvageable. Impressive test ride to say the least, I used to know a guy who took out a Nissan Z (the original ones waaaay back) and totaled the shit outta it. He got to take it out because one of his buddies was a salesman, I don't think they're friends anymore....:whistle:
