My dealer phoned Honda Canada today for me, and they told him that they will make available the updated ECU mapping to the dealership, and the dealership already has the equipment in place to do it. That being said, Honda Canada said that the updated ECU mapping has varied success across the bikes. Does this mean that I could actually make the flat spots in first and second gear worse by doing the Honda ECU update? If so, I might as well pass on it and go straight to Don Guhl.
