Thinking of looking at a set of Michelin Pilot CT2's that a local guy has listed. He lists as used for a 1/2 track day and as 90-95% tread. Asking $200.

cool just look for heavy blue color on tire edge - that means tire over heated or brought up to temp a few times. if no blue go for it.
or if blue on very edge of tire that you will not use on street is ok.
I have 2" stripe on my m-1 metzler just from running on the street, really no big deal but could cause greesy feel on real hot days when riding hard.

tires are your ass on a bike.. I have used used tires before becuase of economic issues but there is nothing better then a fresh set of skins if you have the money buy new...for 100 dollars more well worth it, plus the used tires are usually not as balanced anymore due to breaking a bead and remounting..
