Hello I have a 1983 VF750F Good little bike even running on 3 Cylinders!!! I seem to have a problem with the left rear cylinder. It has spark I had a backfire from it once. Compression seems good (my tester wont fit) but it snaps nice without the plug in it. This problem came suddenly and there was no precourse to it other than not great performance. The float bowl will not fill on the speciifc carb but I am assuming it did before when it ran well. I have cleaned it and no change. Could it be a compression problem? Usually in the case of a carb the bowl should fill either way. Im really confused any insight would be appreciated!

    Thanks so much

If float bowl is empty, means no fuel. What he said, blockage to or at the carb.

Remember, spark + fuel + air to get bang.

Small filter above float needle seat may be clogged. Check petrol tank for signs of rust, and drain other carbs into paper towel, checking for rusty grunge.
