ddm_LRG.jpg Hello members. I installed DDM HID's on my 2005 Honda VFR. I haven't finessed the fit as I am waiting for my front upper fairing to come back from the body shop as the previous owner put a big scratch in it. My issue is the stupid rubber dust covers. The kits are obviously meant to fit numerous bikes, great on a CBR install. The rubber sealing grommet on the DDM harnress is backwards in my opinion. The wires to attach to the stock wiring harness are under the rubber dust cover. Anyone install these and have solution to this problem.

I replaced all 4 bulbs with HID's and they work with no problem. They appear to have the same aiming points in comparison. No delay fron hi to lo. Anyone put a delay on theirs for startup? Pics would be good if you have any.

Any install help would be great. Thanks

The rubber covers on the stock lights are very tightly installed from the factory. The rubber on the harness does not fit under the dust cover, it is there mainly to keep all the wires together.= and it goes outside the dust cover. I have the low beam set up on mine and did not put the stk rubber covers back on due to the difficulty getting them back on. I needed to pull them off with pliers they were so tight. The wires do not go under the dust covers, it would be nigh on impossible to fit them all under the dust covers. Not sure if that answered your question. All 4 ligthts being HID is a bit overkill but so be it. Good luck w your install. BTW I got my kit from HID Country.
