If anyone is within shouting distance of the DC area we have our own facebook page. "DC Motorcycle Riders" is running. The moderator/instigator is my riding friend Ricardo. We met years ago on the ninja250forum. Rather than a site about a particular bike, this one is less brand oriented and more about getting together for rides.
