Daytona 675 subframe and tail swap

    So I am looking for light weight subframe options and the 675 seems to have pretty similar mounting locations. I'm not saying it's a bolt on, but it looks like you could maybe get lucky and throw som spacers on the top mounting part and maybe not have to modify the bottom supports too much. Here's some google pictures comparing the two.
    PS the 675 subframe weighs 5.31 pounds!!!

    I have never weighed it my self, so I can't give you a definite answer, but I have heard 28 pounds. A 20 something pound weight reduction in the top rear most part of the bike is pretty serious.

    I dropped close to 20lbs just getting rid of the high pipes/mufflers. It would be interesting to drop another 20ish in the sub-frame :smile:, if I could still have a set-up for the occasional two up ride ...
