Is there anyone with a datatool alarm that cuts out, I was riding when I lost all power, found out that it was the alarm because I wiggled the motion sensor and everything came back to life again. Could have been on the motorway in the fast lane which would have been bad. I cant replicate the fault but I don't trust it giving out on me again. I could uninstall it but I want to keep the alarm

I have never heard of a datatool alarm (I have an unopened Gorilla alarm that I got for a present yet will probably never install), however, since you had an issue with the motion sensor once, my advice would be to return it stating the issue. .....only tell them it happened numerous times. Make sure that you have the motion sensor installed in a correct position. Your motion sensor could have had an isolated incident, or it might happen again........you roll the dice cowboy! :jason:

It seems that it only plays up when it's really cold and I've worked out that it's when I use the indicators that it cuts out. A swift wack on the side of the bike and everything comes back to life again
