First off apologies as I have yet took the time to search as I only have a few minutes at work to post. I will do some searching later but wanted to get some advice rolling. So please no hating. However I have laid down the VFR and insurance wants a quote for parts. I am finding the Honda Parts no longer has things available. Can someone point me to where I can find some things. I will need right side cowl, mirror, brake handle, bar end, blinker light, and front cowl. The damage on all these is minimal but damaged none the less. I also had a set of Corbin hard saddle bags, that don't existing anymore. Anyone have a suggestion I where I can find a similar replacement. The saddle bag really has the most damage and no other drivability damages just cosmetic. I assume the insurance is gonna just take the payoff method, and offer me a the buy back. I have not been through this before with a bike. Any suggestions to what route I should take. The damage is minimal and I would keep riding the thing, but don't want to pay an extreme buyout back from the insurance to something I wont be able to sell it for in the future with the damage. But if I can find everything besides the bags for the price they will give me from the buyout, I would prolly do it as I can then have something sellable if I wish. I had a similar lowside on my VFR two years ago. I'd go OEM for the bar end and brake lever unless you feel like an upgrade to adjustable levers. For the lenses, there are clear replacements that update the look on eBay, I'd had these for a few years with no issues. EMGO brand pattern mirrors should be a good alternative if the OEM is not available. For the bodywork I bought replica parts (tail, right side, nose) from Auctmarts on eBay, and sent them a bit of rashed fairing for the paint match. The fit is good enough for my 19 year old bike with just a slightly uneven gap where the top and side fairings meet, the colour was near perfect and the finish was excellent. Before: After
