Just installed it on my 06 VFR. Looks good. Just 1 question. Seems like I got more clearence on the left side than the right side. Is that normal? The instructions says center it, but the holes in the kit are not adjustable from left to right (longated hole).

Is anyone elses like that? I have a VA tag which is like 7 1/8 wide. Is there a problem with like 2/16 clearence from the tag to the inside of the exhuast?

Mine installed the same way on my '07. I just centered the plate between the pipes using the horizontal slots that the plate has. Once that was done, you can't notice it.

Yes, I mean the license plate. If you had to, you could shave a little off the sides of your license plate. I have minimal clearance between the plate and the exhaust pipes on either side, but it is not a problem.

ok. had to use a smaller bolt so the plate could move horizontally. Fixed. Didnt have a grinder to shave the plate. I guess I could have scrubbed it on the concrete floor. oh well.

1 other thing I notice. Since you have to remove the light fixture from the plastic housing (from the rear), the wires right next to the light are exposed (in the rear). The tubing only covers so much. Is there a potential for wetness to short something out?

I didn't really notice that on mine. If you plan to not ride in the rain, then you probably won't have to worry about it. Otherwise, you might try wrapping it in electrical tape.

I just installed my eliminator kit last night and noticed it was just off center. you can't really tell if your not trying to see it so I just left it. It's less than an 1/8 inch off so no biggie for me. It does make the bike look a whole lot better though. Now all I need is a fender hugger.

Anyone know a good web-site that I can buy a carbon fiber hugger from? I mean a good quality one.

Well nws used to make a good one. There is red-fox.com that has one. its 5mm plastic and supposed to be good. I ordered one @ $162. there is a guy on VFRdiscussion that has started making them. No price yet. He says it will be expensive. When mines comes in I will take pictures and post up my experience.
