custom gp exhaust

I saw this exhaust forbsale on eBay. I wat to ether buy or make a go style exhaust. This looks like something that would suit my needs which are to highlight the sssa and the tone of the v4.

The question is if I try this project will I be killing my bikes power and if I do take on this project shoud I just get a power commander first.


Educated opinions please.

Bwiess has a similar set up on his bike and it is obnoxious.

 

Is that even a muffler? It looks like a chrome exhaust tip.

Drastically reducing the back pressure will mess with your bike (if it isn't a muffler, and just a chorme tip). How much, and will a power commander fix it? I dont know.

I have been eyballing a DanMoto GP megaphone type slip-on muffler.

I think it would sound pretty mean, but hopefully not be ridiculously loud.
