It would make navigation easier, (especially for those trying to troubleshoot), if there were sub forums under each generation of bike:

    Example:

    1st & 2nd Generation 1983-1989
    - General information
    - Body and Frame
    - Suspension
    - Engine
    o Fuel System
    o Cooling
    - Electrical
    - Builds & Restorations
    - Lost & Found (if it doesn't fit in topics listed above)

Also current forums would need to be cleaned up and organized per the new structure by a moderator. One or two mods per generation would be sufficient.

    Thoughts?

    Thanks for your time!!!

    Thank you for your feedback.

I think the issue is that the bikes are all so similar that there becomes too much redundancy. If someone has a ignition or fuel issue with a 5th gen, 6 gen info often applies. Same with carb issues on 3rd/4th. I don't know about reg or Jason, but I am far too busy with hookers and blow to sort through the old stuff.

If there's something you're looking for and having trouble locating it then there are several here who would gladly help. Also, using Google to search the site turns up very good results.

In theory that sounds great. Probably can be done with a new start with enough work. But to go through past posts is not even close to being realistic. Even if there were a dozen paid moderators, this would be a monumental task. Remember. Our mods are volunteer. And usually too drunk to accomplish such tasks.

I'm sure he meant it as a compliment.

At least that's how I chose to take it.
