I’ve got an 84 vf700f that I completely tore down. Powder coated frame, did the cbr f2 wheel conversion and pretty much made it brand new again. I installed accel super coils with their 8mm plug wires. I put everything back together and dumped some gas into the tank and tried to fire it up and it just cranks and cranks. I checked spark and it just seems really weak, would a battery with a low charge cause a weak spark or would it have something to do with the accel super coils?

oooof there are a lot of possibilities. Hold out for someone more knowledgeable, but I would verify you are getting fuel into the carbs as one of the many recommendations you may receive.

measure the battery volts with your multimeter. anything less than about 12.5 means the battery needs recharging or replacing. you can try jumping from a car battery for a test, and be sure to check the charging system output when it's running.

I did away with the original fuel pump and wired in an after market fuel pump, it is pumping fuel into the bowls.

best way to see if carbs actually have fuel inside is to open a drain screw.
