I am interested in hearing what brand and style of Motorcycle cover you use to protect your toy when/if parked outside, There are many covers out there, I want to hear who has the best and why, and who has the worst and why. thanks for sharing!

    my bike lives outside

note: the large size works if you have no luggage racks. i put a topcase on and thats why the rear wheel doesnt get covered anymore/

I had a Nelson-Rigg for my VF500 about twenty years ago. Help up exceptionally well with the bike parked on the pier at Long Beach for extended periods of time. I liked it enough that I'm going to buy another for my current ride.

I have a Geza, but I use it indoors as a dust cover mostly. I have used it on the bike while trailering it and it held up well. Not sure how much weather it would protect from, though.

I have an inexpensive WallyWorld cover. I store under a canopy, so the cover is to protect from mist and sun. CycleGear (most local store for me) has a Bilt brand cover for $20 that seems about the same quality.

Depends on how much rust/corrosion you want on your bike. If I didn't have a garage and had to store out side. I would put it in a bag like this one:
Motorcycle Covers, Rhino Shelter Motorcycle Storage Bag

I've used one for my car when I store it away from home at times. Comes out as clean as it went in.

If money is no object and you are looking for a higher level of protection, there is the bike shelter option.

I bought one of the Cycle Gear Bilt covers ($20) but have never used it outside yet, mostly a dust cover for when in the Garage. That being said, the Bilt cover looks/feels like it would only last a few weeks/months in very harsh environments. On the good side, I believe I have the medium size and it covers my '09 wheels and all (without luggage).
