    Hey all,

I'm getting more used to my bike and cornering is improving. But I don't feel completely comfortable when cornering fast. The rear feels a bit sloppy. It's like it wobbles a bit. The suspension is set to a little above normal with the damping and pre-load. Tire pressure is fine. Is this normal for the bike? The steering head is a little worn and will be replaced next week. Could the steering head be the problem?

rear wheel bearing toast? get the tire off the ground and see if there's any play side to side. check the swingarm pivot while you're at it.

    Head bearings?

    Shock condition?

Standard or different (front or back) heights?

I find adding about 3/4" to the rear enhances cornering feel, all other things correct.

Old, hard, worn-out tires would be the #1 factor.
