    hello:

I got my VFR back last week from the dealler and having the wiring recall done.

Some observations: The bike seems to rev much easier, and seems to have more power. The changes must be mostly under the tank (dealer put a small scratch beside the fuel cap that I only noticed today, I will have to see if it polishes out), as I can't see much different when I remove the seat.

this may truly be my imagination, but the VTEC transition seems almost seamless. It revs quickly to 8000 - 9000 when it used to rev to 6000 rpm moving away from a light.

So I'm glad I did the recall, and will post if anyhting new turns up. It was a really lousy weekend apart from that, heavy rain, then cold and very strong crosswinds (30 to 50 Km/hr), which is enough to bump you over a lane at the wrong time!

    John
