Replaceing clutch fluid today. Drained as per shop manual, filled resivoir and now cannot get any pressure build up to purge system. I've pumped clutch lever numerous times but no pressure. Clutch was working fine before I started, just the fluid was dark and needed changing, bike is an 06. Even took master cylinder apart but everythng is normal there. Everythings back together but still no pressure build up. Suggestions?

Same thing happened to me with my '01 and I even used a hand pump. I just kept bleeding until it built pressure.

I had same problem, I cracked open the large bolt (forget the name) on top and bled a little that way and that did the trick

If you pinch the hose just below the banjo bolt at the master with a pair of needle nose pliers it will build pressure. Continue to pump the lever until it comes oot the slave and bleed normally. Common to all bikes.

Sit on the bike, apply the front brake, turn the wheel to the right and lean her over as far as you can to the right whilst pumping the clutch lever.
