clip on bars torque wrench setting help

    does anyone know what the torque is for the bolts on the clip ons bars to forks on a 1997 vfr750 fv is please

    I found this in the torque specs for the 90-96 sevice manual. Couldn't copy/paste it for some reason (latest adobe reader is weird), but it says the following:

    23 N-m (2.3 kgf-m; 17 lbf-ft).

    Not sure why the service manual said it was only for 90-96 rather than to '97.

    BTW, those are the same specs for the '98-01.
