Anyone know whats the best for cleaning or polishing the windshield.

Shock horror - ive marked mine already. Not a deep scratch - just a light swirl mark.

What do you recommend that might take it out? :pout:

If it is only a micro scratch then Plexus might help, I use Plexus all the time including my clear and Iridium visors, it protects them from bugs and helps in the rain, if its good enough on fighter canopys it must be alright.

Got some Plexus. Made me helmet look really nice. Ill attack my fairing shield with it in the morning.

I got some Honda Plastic cleaner too, but im afraid to try it, unless the marks dont come out with Plexus

Just as important as the product you use to clean the shield is what you use to wipe it off with.
If shop rags or old T-shirts are used more scratches will be added.
Use a clean microfiber cloth for all cleaning and polishing.

Meguiar's Mirror Glaze Plastic Cleaner if condition of plastic is bad. Mirror Glaze Plastic Polish if condition is generally OK with only minor scratching. Plastic CLeaner is more abrasize than Plastic Polish. Plastic Polish also works for old face shields.

Yep that Plexus is the stuff to make not only your wind screen all purdy but works great on your visor. makes bugs and the like not stick so well. Plus I've noticed it helps aid in the fogging up the inside. Makes clean up way easier

For deeper scratches, I've used a polishing compound and then the above in stages. Find it best to do the shield in only up and down motion, not circular --- and yes a micro cloth is best or a really soft/clean terry. I've also had good luck with pure carnuba wax (no cleaner). I also like Plexus ... it fills in the little scratches (lots of carnuba in it) The Honda shield is softer than my Laminar Lip? go figure! For my face shield, I use the same stuff I use on my plastic lens in my reading glasses (same cloth as well).

For daily cleaning or cleaning your visor try using
a camera lens cleaner or a micro fiber rag. You
don't have to use any solvents or at the most
    water.

Use Plexus and only microfiber towels. Plexus works much better than Honda Cleaner Polish IMHO on Honda windshields.

Additionally, Honda wind screens are very soft compared to the one on my BMW. The Honda wind screen is just going to get scratched. My BMW with twice as many miles has not a mark on it....FWIW.

I agree, I find it is softer that the Laminar Lip I have on the bike. I stick my micro-cloths through the washer, but I read somewhere you shouldn't put microfiber cloths in the dryer .... so I let mine air dry.
