Ok, I just got this restoration proj. Bike was sitting behind a guys house with a loose cap on tank (varnish and rust). But my problem is the tank valve is stuck in the off position. I can take the vac diaphram portion apart, but valve has the ring "riveted" on (say that bc "rivets" are part of valve casting). Don't really want to dip valve in carb cleaner, bc there aren't any replacment parts unless u consider entire assy a replace part. Suggestions?
