I have not attended the show before, but I will be riding my 4G VFR750 to Spencer NC from Winston-Salem on Saturday morning, stopping for breakfast at a good BBQ/breakfast/home cooking greasy spoon in Granite Quarry (4-5 miles south of Spencer/Salisbury), and then I'll cruise back to Spencer for the show, beginning at 10:00am. Bikes from 1900-1990 are allowed to enter the show, alas but my VFR is too young ('96), but I expect to spectate, eyeball a lot of neat old rides.

    Here's the link:

It's interesting that the bikes featured in the photo for the Museum's show page are both late model, and not eligible to compete in the show: a 2000s Royal Enfield Bullet (500?), and a 1999-2000 Kawasaki W650 . . . anywho

It is at the Transportation (Train) museum between Salisbury and Spencer, hope to see some other VFRs there -

Peace - bruthas and sistahs -

I was all excited about it (saw an ad on craigslist out here) and thought about entering my 85 VFKR until I did some research. 290 miles and 5 hours one way. Damn I hate being way out in north east NC.
