    Hello Everyone,

I started chroming parts of my 1986 VFR750F. i had the frame chromed and then the swing arm, the valve covers and side covers and all the bolts and small brackets, parts of the carburetors and lower half of the air cleaner box and after all that that i feel the rims still look good white, I thought about the seat frame and forks but i stopped there.

so my question to you is how far would you go with chrome on a vfr if chroming wasn't a problem ? at what point dose the bike stop looking good and take on a look in the wrong direction ? your input would greatly appreciated .

    Thanks

    Off topic...

What is with the Calvin Praying images that I see in stickers on the back of cars and in the case of the OP, his avatar?

Chrome + VFR? I'd stop... before I started.

But hey, whatever works for you.

    Got a picture?

    Speed,

If you're a chromeholic buy a Harley, otherwise stop after chroming the wheels.

    Carry On ~

I think the only chrome on my VFR would be my chrome dome, but powder coating my wheels gun metal grey now that would be somethin. I think you

Chrome on a VFR, like tattoos on your grandmother and monograms, is best applied where nobody can see it. If you want chrome, get a HD

Well - I allready got one bling bike and the chrome on that thing is a PIA, so I doubt I would do anything on a VFR. But since you asked and so ... frame, swingarm, wheels and I'm done. Once you chrome something, then you gotta clean it. -- I'm more in the "just ride it" stage with the viffer for the moment...
