I'm nearing the end of rebuilding my '85 VF700F and need to replace the choke cable. Apparently Honda no longer provide it. Does anyone know where I can get a replacement?

    Thanks

    Tony

No problem finding VF 500 parts in junkyards: thousands are resting there.

If you can find an real, old school motorcycle shop, one with a couple of old Triumphs and a Norton sitting in the corner under a layer of dust, some crusty old guy can cut wires and solder end pieces for you like things got done years ago.

    +1 to that Squirrelman.

    Too funny,but absolutely true.
There actually is an old motorcycle shop here in Brewtown with a crusty old guy who cuts wires, solders end pieces, and fabs up custom cables the old fashioned way.
I've taken my business to him several times over the years specifically because he's VERY GOOD at what he does.
