Does anyone run with replica Yosi or Akra slip ons on their 6th gen? I have a 2002 with staintunes but I hate the look of them (they look very 90s) and the sound is not all that impressive either. Being on a budget, I was thinking to keep the staintunes pipe from the car to the muffler, but swap the muffler for something like what is linked below. Would love your opinions or how it experiences have been.

    Welcome! And...

ewwww. Those are TERRIBLE. I think you're crazy, but it's your bike, do what you want. Don't think you're gonna get much approval for your plan here tho.

The good news you will likely be able to easily sell the WHOLE Staintune exhaust to fund this... idea.

Post up some pics of this VFR with the "90s" mufflers.

"Modified scooter silencer pipe" says the item description. Ouch.

In all seriousness if you like that look - trade your Staintunes for someone else's system. I have Leo Vince SBK with the carbon look mufflers... looks great, sounds great. There are multiple options... but your Staintunes are highly sought after so don't cut them up or sell them cheap, trade someone for what you want! Or sell them for what they are worth then buy what you want.

    My 2c.

No modified scooter pipes, this is the gentleman's sportbike.
