Looks like I get to pop the cherry on this new forum. So here's what I'm thinking... I'm off from now until Monday so I'm thinking at least one ride is in order... Probably more. But for now, let's say.... This Sunday I will be worshipping at the Church of the Open Road. Services will begin in Atascadero, CA at the Starbucks in the Von's shopping center at Hwy 41 and El Camino at 0930. All worshippers will be welcome. Donations of rubber will be left along the route. Tentative schedule for service will include Atascadero 41 E to Templeton Rd then Vineyard and up to Paso, by Naciemiento Lake across Fort Hunter, then out to Hwy 1. That's right, services will include the best stretch of that world famous Hwy with views to invoke the spirit. We'll head north to Big Sur for communion and fellowship. From there services will continue back down Hwy 1 through San Simeon, Cambria, down to Morrow Bay. From there we'll take a left towards Atascadero on Hwy 41 E... Concluding service back in Atascadero. Come one, come all. If you can't come, but know someone in need of inspiration, send them. There will be multiple camera stops, rest stops, what have you depending on the needs of the group. I realize this is short notice, but it's a one day trip so you should be able to swing it. This is for your peace of mind... Do it for yourself. You deserve it.
This is one of the best rides in the world, I'm so jealous when reading about anybody even near Hwy 1...
