these are meant to be on an 07 Yamaha R1. I have a spare parts bike that is an 09 cbr 600rr and used the shift rod because it was much shorter and spaced each mounting bolt 1/4 inch to clear swingarm.

Looks cool. Does that heel guard actually miss the swingarm ? What is the crazy idea with the worlds longest exhaust hanger ? You might want to black out the DoD stickers too !

I'm wondering the same thing. from the angles shown in the pictures looks like the swingarm will hit when going over bumps.

Ha! I just noticed that. Holy moly.

[IMG]or those that don't know I have an r1 subframe. I'm waiting for the right deal to come an around so I can mate an r1 exhaust to my bike. The shifting is OK right now. I can get it in and out of gear but I have not ridden it. The exhaust on bike is a full viper system and instead of going through trouble of making a new hanger I took the viper one and flattened it by running it over with my car. The bike is a work in process.

Priceless  use of "incorrect" parts AND getting ingenious with tooling. You seem like my kinda rider (IE: sounds like some shit I would do in a pinch)

I tried to do it with a sledghammer but no budging so I busted out the 99 Honda accord and went to town. Its nowhere near perfectly flat.
