Picked up this mint condition 2010 Honda Elite 110 with only 914 miles on it (4 of them were from my test ride)! It was manufactured in 12/09 and the seller bought it new in July 2010 with 2 miles from Florida Motorsports in Naples, FL. He usually lives up north and used the scooter only while staying in his gulf front condo in Naples to take his wife to restaurants, shopping, etc. Otherwise it was kept in the building’s underground garage - this scooter has led the good life! LOL. Dealer maintained with all books and records and both keys - got it for $1,200. Only mod is a trickle charger attachment and the seller threw in the charger for free. This will make a great companion for my VFR :D

I bought a scooter for my wife. But they just don't do anything for me, maybe when I get older.

They’re great fun in Florida to run little errands on - I plan to ride mine year round in nothing but flip flops, shorts, shades and a Hawaiian shirt (cue the forum’s ATGATT lynch mob :D )

If you’re ever in Orlando Pete I’ll let you take it for a ride. I’ll mount a GoPro to the handlebars and aim it at your face - if you can keep from grinning ear to ear while tearing around my subdivision at 50 mph I’ll buy you a Gatorade :D

No, but I’ve got an SC Project titanium exhaust on order - j/k :D I’m gonna leave her unmolested - I’m not even gonna remove the warning stickers - LOL. I respect the ATGATT lynch mob’s opinion but wearing ATGATT on a scooter is sort of like wearing a condom for a blow job - I’m sure it’s much safer but it’s a hell of a lot more fun to go without (cue the forum’s PC lynch mob :D )

Sure, no problem. I hope you don’t mind but somehow my Corvette got badged as a Camaro at the Chevy factory - damn American quality control!:D

That was effin hilarious, thanks! I will say that from 0 to about 30 my old PCX 150 was usually way ahead of any cars - scooters are deceptively quick off the line and since they're just twist and go it's impossible to screw up the "launch". My Elite 110 is surprisingly quick from 0 to about 25 :D

I bought a 250cc Chinese Honda Reflex clone back in 2008, when gas prices gone up crazy; $1499 delivered to my driveway in a crate.
It cruises nicely around 40-45 mph, tops out at about 60 mph. Out accelerates more cars from a stop until about 40 mph.
It used to get well over 80 mpg, takes about 1.7 gal to fill up, gets about 140-160 mile per tank.
The longest single day ride I've taken was about 240 miles in one day.
Now at nearly 20k miles on the Chinese scooter, I never had to clean the carb.
I stopped changing the sparkplug and adjusting the valves 3 years ago, change the oil, check the drivebelt annually; beyond that just add fuel, air to tires and it just keeps going.
Nowadays, I run the Chinese scooter to carry my bicycle to local parks for bicycle rides.
Driving a car is just not as cool when you show up to a group ride.

Seeing as we are making confessions, I also own and ride a Vespa Sprint 150 which I bought new last year. In the right time and place, lots more fun than a VFR, and (also confessing) I have been known to ride with less than ATGATT....

Hmm. I guess it has been said that it is better to ride a slow bike fast than a fast bike slow.
However and notwithstanding, To make that thing look cool on the interdork, you are gonna have to flog hell out of it.
So, forget that and just go get the latte and avocado toast. LOL.
    Death to Starbucks! :chaingun:
