    Hi Guys
As the title suggests, I am chasing a top view pic of a set of helibars so i can see and compare the mounting/set/offset angles for the grips compared to my stock ones. All the pics I have seen so far are more or a riders view and dont enhance the differences.
    Cheers
    Shane

On my 2007 they move the bars 1.25 inches upwards and 1.50 inches rearward (towards the rider). This may not sound much, but for me it made an immediate and huge difference on ride comfort. It is also about the practical limit of what can be done without having to extend brake lines, cables etc.

Helibars allow me to enjoy a more upright riding position, which significantly reduces the share of body weight carried on the wrists. Sadly I can't offer any directly comparable before and after photos, but as I spend a lot of time on long haul runs across Europe (it recently tripped over 80,000 km) I find the more touring oriented bar position well worth the investment. If you are mostly into track days then the stock bars may be a better choice.

    Cheers Marriedman
That is exactly the pic i am looking for.

Cant be that much difference between the 5th and 6th gen (?) Mainly looking for how much it sets them back from the forks to straighten the bars up with the same reach, but still undecided.

Skimad - Thanks for your opinions. Its why I ask. Realistically I know I wont be touring like you are but plan to experience long stretches of straight highway while also contemplating track days. I am thinking abm mutliclip bars might be the go as I think Ill be able to change the set up to suit the application, but the are pricey too.
