    Good day all.

i just picked up a 2004 Asphalt black VFR and I am doing some TLC as it seems to be have been neglected a bit by the previous owner...

The chain looks like it was never cleaned.. just more lube applied...

I wanted to clean it - and went to pull off the front sprocket cover.. I see there is the speedo sensor and the Hyd Clutch... in the way... -

I have the service manual... it says I have to drain the Hyd fluid from the clutch and then remove it... Is there not an easier way.. hate to have to bleed the system to just clean the sprocket...
    Any help would be appreciated..

You can just unbolt the clutch slave cylinder but you will need to wrap some tape or a zip tie around it as the piston will want to come oot over time. You will also want to install the speedo sensor with some caution as the adapter is easily damaged if not lined up correctly.
