CBR600F2 Top Triple Tree Clamp - dimension question

Hi All,

Would anyone have an F2 triple clamp on their bike or workbench for a quick dimension check?

I'm after the overall thickness of the top clamp at the fork tube (i.e. where the clip-on mounts).

Will try to remember to take a measurement when I get home.

 

I am gonna call it at 25mm on the fork tube.

 

F2 top clamp = .945" or 24.002999999999996 mm

vf500f top clamp = .955" or 24.256999999999998 mm

What is the actual dimension of the F2 fork tube? Thanks!

 

you want the OD of the fork tube that slides into the tripple correct?

 

The tubes are 41mm.

 

Yes, please. I would like to compare this to YZF600F fork tubes to double check that a CBR600F2/F3 triple clamp is compatible. In theory it should be but a double check is always good ;-)

 

Thanks TOE. Both the F2/F3 and YZF600F fork tubes are 41mm nominal but I would like to double check, using a micrometer, what the actual OD is, of each.
