    Hi everyone,
I sold my 3rd gen last week to buy a 6th gen. I figured it was probably better than trying to get the 750 back to the condition I'd like, as it was fairly rough. I think it had a hard life with it's previous owner!

So far, I'm very impressed by the 800. Way smoother engine and handles a lot better too. I still think there's room for improvement though!

I've been reading posts on here about shock upgrades. From what I understand, an aftermarket f3 shock with a remote reservoir will fit but it needs a 1" spacer on the top mount. What spring rate would be needed in that shock compared to what would be used when installed on the f3? The reason I ask is that there is a used maxton shock for sale locally and I might modify it to fit. Thanks for any help:D
