CBR 1000 parts retrofit

    I'll start off by saying this is more out of boredom than anything, but I'm curious to know if late 80's early 90's CBR/Hurricane 1000 suspension components( ie. forks, triples, bars, brakes, shock etc) can be retrofitted to a 86' 700F. If possible would there be any great improvement; I'm looking for stouter suspension figure suspension off of a bigger, heavier bike might give me what I'm looking for & would also like improved vs. reduced handling performance. :smow:

    I suspect the person who could answer this with authority is Jamie Daugherty... I have heard of the f2/f3 forc conversion and Jamie Daugherty is known for retrofitting beefier rear shocks on the older interceptors.. (I'm currently saving up to hopefully have him do one for me.)
