So I have an 2006 VFR...what is the year of the catless heads I need?? I know I read about the 99-01 models being the right size diameter for the exhaust...I have a two bros slip on with the same OEM diameter mid pipe....I am thinking that may be my next upgrade...thanks in advance
You need 1998 or 1999 headers from a VFR800. These were the final two years that Honda built vfr's without catalytic converters. All future years came equipped with cats. eddie PS -I have a set of 98's and a set of 99's that I might consider selling. I also have a set of 2000's that have had the cat removed from its canister.
Killer, New headers would also be an option, either Motads or Delkevics. There are write ups on both if you do a search. Action
