carburetor question

    i am disassembling the carbs on my '83 vf750. i've gotten everything apart except the 'jet needle holder' and the 'starter jet'. these are round and i dont know how to get them disconnected....
    can someone tell me how?
    OR- can i leave them in when i soak the carb body (will the clean ok installed)?

    Those 2 parts are not removable, which you'd know if you studied The Book.

    You should be able to blow air into the lower brass tube; use wire to unblock it if necessary.
