Hey guys, I've got an odd (to me at least) issue that I can't really figure out. I don't know if it's a synchronization issue, or maybe a vaccuum leak, but whenever I'm riding my bike my engine will "stick" at 3-4000 RPM, and even climb back up to 3-4k from idle. This seems to prevail especially when the bike is hot, or at normal operating temperature, and not as much when I start it (with or without choke). So to reiterate: Starts fine, idles at around 1100 with choke and without until I start riding a few kms, then starts to stay at, or climb to 4000RPM when I'm stopped. Thanks guys! Tref
Vaccum leak maybe around boots.......but first check all header pipes for heat on startup cuz you may have one lean cylinder that won't fire all proppa until engine is warmed up==typical gummed up carb problem.
Stuck choke linkage. Just had a set with this problem, front two would stick just a bit and facked the whole thing up. A bit of an ass scratcher.
