    Hey Guys,

Sorry this probably seems like such an obvious one to most of you, but i have looked through my repair manual everywhere to try and figure out where these two hoses go to. Unfortunately i got this bike from my dad and it was already all taken apart. If anyone knows where the two hoses that are circled in yellow in the picture below connect up to, could you please let me know. They both come off of the carbs, underneath the air box. Thanks in advance! This site has been an unbelievable help to me, with this project for my dad.

PS: The bike is an '84 VF500F

well they may go to the airbox are the carb hoses conected?gas tank vacum or it must be that them hoses connect to the hose connectors on the other end of the first hose connectors.:thumbsup:make sure all connectors are connected to the hose connection area or there could be a leak of something that travels through them hoses there past the first connector.

Thanks for all the replies so far guys! I really appreciate it. It looks like these hoses probably are the float bowl vent tubes. I will go with that anyways, unless something that makes more sense is brought to my attention
